I was hesitant to purchase the H1060P mainly because I was thrown all over the place when it came to researching what would be the best for me. I nearly bought the Wacom Intuos Pro, but with the steep price and the lack of experience with drawing tablets I decided to do more research. I'm glad I did and a bit of risk I decide on the H1060p regardless of some negative reviews. I would say or recommend Huion to explain their products better when knowing the differences between H1060p and H106plus which are two different tablets. But all in all the drawing tablet is fantastic. Some getting use to I'm sure. But the natural flow with the pen and screen was great. So trust me if you are a beginner with drawing tablets and you don't have $300 plus to throw around this drawing table is definitely one to consider. I'll give more updates soon and maybe some drawing samples.

I'm brand new to digital art, and this is my first drawing tablet. Everything about this purchase has made me happy! The drawing surface has this wonderful, gentle texture to it that just feels great to draw on, the included artist glove and extra nibs only bolster the value, and it was incredibly easy to get the latest drivers and start drawing in Clip Studio Paint. The customization options go above and beyond, too. I feel like this ought to be every beginner's first drawing tablet; I anticipate using it far, far past the beginner stages of digital art.

This is my first drawing tablet so I can't compare it with others. I did do quite a bit of research prior to my purchase, so here are my thoughts. I haven't had any issues with it. I was able to familiarize myself with the device and draw/browse the web within five minutes of installing the driver. I initially wanted a display tablet but decided against it. Display tablets require 3 cords instead of 1. And they are considerably more expensive. A lot of people complain about the disconnect with screenless tablets, but your cursor is tracked when the stylus is held above the tablet, so it is very easy to keep track of where you are. If you can use a mouse, you can use this. I'm not a good artist, but my line art and writing quality when using this tablet is pretty comparable to pen and paper. Much better than trying to draw with a mouse. Pressure sensitivity of the stylus is good. I feel like after watching a bunch of review videos, control and range of line thickness is more dependent on the software you use. Higher pressure count might allow more flexibility when configuring it to your taste in the driver. The driver seems fine. I think the only thing missing is calibration and testing for stylus tilt. Speaking of tilt, I bought this tablet since it supports that feature, mostly out of curiosity. It works (tested in Expresii). It's a new enough tech I think a lot of software doesn't use it. So like pressure sensitivity, the software you use will be the weak link here. Tilt in general feels the least natural of features and will likely require some practice to master.

It doesn't have a battery, you plug it in. It's a great product. Compared to the Wacom intuous with pen tilt, it's way better from a price point perspective. Other than that, functionally I like it more as the software is better. I had issues with Wacom drivers and software regularly. Also noticeably input lag with Wacom. No such issue with the intuos.

Works great as a pen and tablet. I replaced a worn out Wacom and this tablet does everything that tablet did except it doesn't have a mouse. I'd give it a five-star rating if it had a mouse similar to Wacom. I use a tablet for everything - surfing to photo editing to drawing - and while all this is possible with the pen, I still prefer to mix it up and use a mouse and a pen on my tablet.
