It's a small motor for a 1/16. I put it in my 1/18 latrax rally and run it with a 2s lipo. It runs great in that. It will be too small to mount and will not run your car very fast if you get it in there.

No. To heavey. Get a outrunner style motor. More power less weight. These have greater low end start power and more punch for gear driven devices. Outrunner speed and lower power but 30% lighter more rc plane type

It is ideal for the latrax series (teton / sst / rally). It was obviously a great update of the original engine. Developed by the 2000 lipo, it will play longer than normal children. Obviously, the caveat is that you need to update almost all latrax plastic series because it will chew the differential gear star and damage all other products in less than an hour. Then you need to upgrade to metal shafts, shock absorbers and more. The remote control is becoming increasingly expensive, but this is part of the fun!

It's so stupid for people hahaha to write these comments! This is a 7200 KV motor. If you use it in a stupid application, it will be hot! These people threw the electric motor into cars, trucks and boats, and the configuration was the same as the 1900kv electric motor they had just replaced, and it was impossible to find out why it was getting hotter. ... stupid! This is a classic case in which stupid people post stupid comments on Amazon again. I bought two of these 7200kv motor branches from another vendor. The same car sold 20 vendors here and added a name. Don't joke, this engine will get hot. Any high Kv motor can be started. That's why they use a fan to make heat sinks! Now I have written more than 300 comments on other parts of Amazon, only for RC parts. I have more than 500 models, some of which vary in price from $ 10 to hundreds of dollars. So far, hobby from newb to Rc. It can flow freely at very high speeds. You must set the transmission ratio to 60: 1 in cars and trucks, for example, if the transmission ratio of the old engine is 2: 1. For example, I know how to kill, but you understand what I mean! But these people don't know anything about it, expect the engine to do something they can't do and then post a bad comment! I have 9 of these motors, each with a different kV rating, and they will work well if they are applied correctly to the task and not thrown into the wrongly used model. I think some of the items sold by goolRC are my own crap! The shopkeeper has very little lemon with his own ESC. Maybe the shopkeeper's stocks? But these engines work well with the other three vendors that I bought on Amazon. 2x7200kv 4x1900kv 1x3200kv 2x4300kv.
