    The good news: they do work well! I am African American with short natural hair -4 C mostly. The bad news: they are tiny, like rods for a doll. I was shocked when I saw how small they are. I can't imagine what someone with thick long hair would do with these. They should definitely be wider, actually 2 or 3 times the size they are would be fine.

    in fact, they are cool to create a close-knit volume. need to use them properly. only to create volume at the roots.
