I used two stripes. One near the end to lift the ingrown side up and out of the skin. It took a couple of days for it to work itself up and out so I could clip the jagged part then I reapplied new stripes. Again one near the front and one in the back so the new stuff grows out lifted and in the right position. The biggest piece of advice is to glue the strip to the ingrown place first so the strip is sticking up in the air, after it hardens, push the strip flush with the nail and glue it so you get good tension and lift.

My big toes have been ingrown since I can remember. I have tried the more expensive version of this and got frustrated because it was also hard to get stuck correctly. I ran out of this particular piece in the more expensive set and was very pleased to find it for cheaper. Once you finally figure it out and do get them stuck on correctly it works. Or that has been my experience thus far.

These absolutely work!!! After injuring my toe, I got an ingrown toenail. I couldn’t stand for the sheet to even touch it! Within hours of putting this brace on, my pain was completely gone!!!!! Yes, they’re a pain in the behind to put on but, stick with it and keep trying!Within one month, my ingrown has grown out and the curve in my toenail was gone. I got a pedicure and they cut off the curvy part of my toenail and it’s completely back to normal. I would absolutely recommend that you give these a go! Don’t suffer any longer! They’re a miracle!

Once you figure out how to get them to stick they work so well. I used “gorilla super glue”. I glued one side down and held for like 30 seconds before trying to glue the rest down. I held the first side down with a metal cuticle pusher. But once you figure out how to glue them they really work super well. And it really corrects the nail shape long term.
